Laura Bavlnka, of Bavlnka Brand, has been dyeing fabric for over a decade with 5 years of experience exploring the art of natural dyeing. Join Laura for a 1.5 hour long workshop to learn the basics of Natural Dyeing. Whether you have an interest in starting a hobby in natural dyeing, or you are simply looking for a night of fun where you get to go home with something pretty, this workshop caters to all. Each participant will make one scarf using the bundle dye method with flowers, foliage and other plant materials. Bundle dyeing is one of Laura’s favorite natural dye techniques because the results are always a surprise and always unique. You will learn her tips and tricks to get beautiful results in your scarf. No previous experience needed, all materials will be provided. The natural dye method we are using is not messy, and will not put you at risk of dyeing your clothing or hands.

This workshop is intended to be an introduction to sustainable practices in textile design, and a conversation about how we can be more sustainable with our wardrobes. We look forward to having you!

**tickets cannot be refunded once purchased. If you cannot attend the event for any reason you are welcome to find someone else to go in your place, and this can be communicated to Laura the night of the event.
