Functionality meets aesthetic with this repurposed button-down romper. A big part of my work and my mission is to find ways to creatively reuse materials and garments that already exist. The world is overflowing with garments, perfectly good garments are being thrown away simply because we have too many. A solution to that problem is to reinvent a garment, give it a new life, and transform it into something that someone will actually wear, and hopefully wear for years to come.

One of the biggest concerns I hear people talk about with rompers is that it doesn't fit their torso the way they would like them to. We are all unique, we have completely unique shapes and sizes, it's time our clothing fits us the way we want it to! Milwaukee area residents have the option for a custom fit, meaning you can come to the Milwaukee atelier and have this piece crafted to your exact measurements. 

You also have the option to provide your own button-down. Maybe you're an avid thrifter and want to find something truly unique to transform into a romper. Maybe you have a button-down from a loved one, and want the legacy to live on but in a piece that's more your style. 

This romper has lots of options for customization, including sleeve length and pant length. Laura works hard to use as much of the original fabric as possible, but it is necessary to add supplemental fabrics. You have the choice to add in a fabric that is tonal or fabrics that add a new color or pattern. These customizations along with sizing will be discussed after your order is placed and processed.

Oh and pockets, this style features as many pockets as you'd like!

What is made-to-order? Made-to-order refers to garments that are created specifically for you based on your size and specifications through pre-order. This approach minimizes overproduction and waste. To our Milwaukee area customers, for some made-to-order garments, we can offer the opportunity for fittings at the atelier, ensuring a truly custom fit. All garments are carefully crafted by Laura, the owner of Bavlnka Brand.

• Made-to-order (pre-order) garments typically have a production time of 4-6 weeks. You will be in direct communication with Laura to discuss the timing of your order.
• The production timing for each item may vary and will be specified in the item's description.
• When you place a pre-order, you are reserving an item that has not yet been produced. All pre-orders are considered custom orders.
• For styles that do not have a size option at time of purchase, you will be contacted once the order is placed and processed to discuss your sizing preferences.
• Payment is required upfront, and once payment is received, orders are considered final and cannot be canceled or refunded.
• In the event that a style is discontinued before production, any orders placed for that style will be fully refunded.
